Practical training
Since the strength of a company rests on standing out from any competition, the future graduate is expected to be creative and provide a driving force. With this in mind the student will be made aware of the importance of innovation right from the beginning of the 2nd year through their positioning in a concrete project, calling for the student to look at things from a different angle. During this phase of initiation to innovation, the student will become conscious of different issues to consider, such as confidentiality or even intellectual property.
Economic Sciences
Knowledge of the economic framework is particularly useful for future graduates who can potentially become entrepreneurs or business creators:
- Business economics
- Business creation
- Globalisation
Awareness of company demands
Students will encounter their first significant experience in the professional world with a 2-month internship. They will learn the basics required in finding an internship thanks to the professional training provided and support throughout the search. Students can put into practice all the knowledge and expertise they have acquired over the last two years. This rewarding experience will help towards the professional orientation project.
Education and teamwork
Within the framework of the 1st year, students have to continue their education as major players in their training. They are able to position themselves on highly specific topics with their scientific and methodological background.
The skills involved in working as a team are highlighted even more, particularly in view of the student’s integration within a team in a work placement.
International dimension
SupBiotech spotlights its international dimension by opening up an Anglophone section right from the first year.
Preparation for the study term abroad
The second year is an important one for the student since he has to perfect report in English, , both in written form and orally. In January the student will sit an official IELTS exam, the results of which determine the choice of entrance to different partner univerities abroad for the study term at the beginning of the third year.
There is an International Fair to help students in their choice of destination.
Speak Easy Sessions
Before students sit the official IELTS exam, English learning practice plays an important part in the curriculum.
On top of weekly lessons, organized ‘speak easy’ sessions are in place to help students improve and pass the IELTS exam.
